The Village Council passed a resolution on January 3, 2012 to consolidate future village elections with Baroda Township. Future elections will now be conducted by the Baroda Township Clerk. By state statute elected terms cannot be shorted but must be lengthened to accommodate the next consolidated election schedule.
The village election was held on November 4, 2014. Election results are as follows:
Bob Getz - President for a two year term
G. Larry Nye, Mona Himmelein and Milton Sluder - Trustees for a four year term
The AutoMARK voting system now allows everyone the opportunity to vote a secret, independent and verifiable ballot. Whether you are blind, deaf, or in any other way physically disabled, you can vote on your own. Our election workers are there to answer any questions you may have regarding this new equipment or to assist you in anyway.
Absentee ballots are also available for those who are not able to be here on election day. Please call the Township Office at 422-2300 if you would like to receive an Absent Voter Ballot.
